Alu paratha

Ingredients:


For stuffing:
Potatoes            -  3 nos
Onion                -  1 no
Green chillies     -  2 nos
Fresh coriander -  1 table spoon
Ajwain              -  1 tea spoon
Saunf                -  1 tea spoon
Salt to taste.


For paratha:
Wheat flour(atta)    -  200 gms
Cooking oil            -  1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Ghee for cooking.


1.  Boil potatoes.
2.  Peel the potatoes and mash.
3.  Add finely chopped onions, green chllies, coriander leaves, ajwain, saunf and salt and make it into a paste.
4.  Take atta in a bowl add salt and water and mix it till it it becomes a thick dough.  
5.  Add oil to it kneed further and keep it aside for atleast 1/2 hour.
6.  Divide the dough to lemon sized equal balls.
7.  Roll one ball into a small chapathi and spread the potato mixture to it generously.
8.  Roll another chapathi and cover the potato and stick the edges.
9.  Dust the rolling board again and place the paratha and roll it further.
10.Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha and pour 1 table spoon of ghee around the paratha and cook turning both sides in low flame.
11.Once brown spots appear on both sides remove from stove and serve hot with curd and pickle.
12.Alu Paratha ready.  Serve hot with Pickle and Curd.
