Onion Paratha

Ingredients:

Wheat Flour             -  2 cups
Onions                     -  3 nos
Green chillies            -  3 nos
Ghee or Cooking oil -  4 - 5 table spoons
Salt to taste




1.  
Take the wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and knead it into a tight dough.
2.  Keep the kneaded dough covered with a wet cloth for 1 hr.
3.  Finely chop onions and green chillies.
4.  Take a big lemon size of dough and using a rolling pin make a paratha of poori size.
5.  Spread a table spoon full of onions few finely chopped pieces of green chillies and sprinkle salt evenly over the spread vegetable.
6.  Make another poori sized paratha and place it over the one with vegetables and stick the edges.
7.  Dust liberally the rolling board and gently spread the stuck parathas till desired size.
8.  Heat tawa and place the rolled paratha.
9.  Cook the parathas turning both the sides in regular intervals. adding oil or ghee on both the sides.
10.Onion parathas ready. Serve with pickle, chutney and curd.

I have used earthen tawa. It adds desi taste to the parathas. Try it.
