Parathas

Ingredients:

Wheat flour           -  2 cups
Ghee or oil            -  4 table spoons
Butter (optional)    -  2 table spoons
Salt to taste


1.  Take wheat flour in a bowl add a pinch of salt and adding water little by little make it into a thick dough.
2.  Keep it aside covered by wet cloth for 1 hr.
3.  Take a big ball, a loarge sized and using a rolling pin spread it to a small chapati.
4.  Take a table spoon of butter or ghee and spread it over the chapati.
5.  Fold twice and after dusting the rolling board roll the folded chapati again to a regular chapati size.
6.  Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha and add a tea spoon of ghee or oil and let it cook in low flame turning both sides from time to time.
7.  Once both the side turns light brown and small spots in dark brown remove from tawa.
8.  Paratha ready.  Serve hot with pickle, dal and curd.
