Adai

Ingredients:

Rice                         -  1 cup
Benegal gram dal      -  1/2 cup
Red gram dal(thoor) -  1/2 cup
Black gram dal         -  1 table spoon
Red chillies               -  4 - 5 nos
Coriander leaves      -  3 tables spoon
Cooking oil for makes adai
Salt to taste

1.  Wash and soak rice, all the dals and red chillies for 2 - 3 hrs.
2.  Grind coarsely in a mixer or grinder.  Remember it should not be very finely ground.
3.  Add finely chopped corianders and salt keep it aside for 1/2 hr.
4.  Heat a tawa and grease it.
5.  Pour the batter in the tawa and spread it evenly.  It has to be a little thick not thin like dosa.
6.  Pour 1 tea spoon of oil and let it cook in low flame, then turn it to the other side and pour another tea spoon of oil and let it cook it low flame and once it turns golden brown remove from stove.
7.  Adai ready.  Serve hot with jaggery, tomato thokku and butter.
